Mystic Inspiration Limited, a UK-based art company, is organising an exhibition of paintings by 20 artists from Bengal, from 23rd April to 2nd May, at the Hyderabad Art Gallery in Shantinagar. Ashish Kabasi, Beena Pradhan, Debashish Kabasi, Dipak Banerjee, Dwijen Gupta, Karma, Pradosh Paul, Ratan Acharya, Sadhan Chakraborty, Sanjoy Bose, Shyam Kanu Barthakur, Snehangshu Shekar Das, Somenath Maity, Subrata Chowdhury, Subrata Pal, Sukti Subra Pradhan, Suman Roy, Sunil Das and Wasim R Kapoor are the artists participating in this show.
The exhibition has been titled Brushstrokes From Bengal, and is the first show in Hyderabad with an emphasis on the Bengal region. It has been arranged in such a way as to bring forward an integral outlook of the development of art in West Bengal over the last four decades. From the experienced masters depicting distinct styles of their own to the new aspiring young artists displaying various new concepts and talent, the endeavour showcases a variety aimed generating respect for senior talent and creating sensitivity towards new promise, and creating a balance that reflects the essence of Bengal.
Mystic Inspiration Limited is a UK-based company founded by Anjli Paul, the daughter of Lord Swraj Paul, and her friend Blory Chana. The Indian offices are located in Kolkata and Hyderabad, and headed by Sonal Jindal and Vanaja Banagiri. The company has permanent galleries in Kolkata and Birmingham, and link galleries in Dubai, Delhi and Hyderabad.
