Bhairavi Sangeetha Academy, in association with Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha, is organizing a music concert Swara Raagasudha, on the eve of the Thyagaraja birth anniversary celebrations, at Kala Subba Rao Kala Vedika (the mini-hall of Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha) located in Chikkadpally. The schedule of the programs is as below:

The vocalists will be accompanied by musicians O Rajasekhar on the violin and Kali Varaprasad on the mridangam. The chief guest of the evening is "Veena Praveena" Dhuddu Sitaramayya, Principal of the Government Music & Dance College, Nellore.
The main organizer of this event is Bhairavi Sangeetha Academy. The founder of the academy is Dr. Vyzarsu Balasubramaniam, a renowed musician. He has done his M A in music from the Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, and holds 2 PhDs, from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Miraj, and from the University of Delhi. He is one of the topmost sangeet vidwans of the city, and teaches several students at his institute Bhairavi Sangeet Academy, which he had established more than 7 years ago.
Dr. Balasubrahmanyam has performed in many venues across the state and the country. He has also been on concert tours to Australia and Singapore. He has composed a number of varnams, krithis, javalis and tillanas, besides music for Annamayya keertanas. Many of his students have won many prizes at national level music competitions.
