The Department Of Culture is organizing a 100-day program named Satha Roopa, at the Ghantasala Kala Vedika in the premises of Ravindra Bharathi. On this occasion, there are many programs pertaining to different streams like harikatha, burrakatha, janapada (folk) dance and music, classical dance and music, magic, mimicry and mime.
As part of this, after the Harikatha Saptaham last week, it is the Burrakatha Saptaham from 30th April to 6th May. The Burrakatha programs are as below:

7:30pm - Burrakatha by G Ramu on Seeta Kalyanam
3rd May
6:30pm - Burrakatha by Satyanarayana on Bhishma
7:30pm - Burrakatha by Vibhuti Brothers on Uttaraabhimanya
4th May
6:30pm - Burrakatha by V Bhanumati on Srinivasa Kalyanam
7:30pm - Burrakatha by Subbarayudu on Kaabhojaraju Katha
5th May
6:30pm - Burrakatha by Kumari Rajeshwari on Alluri Seetaramaraju
7:30pm - Burrakatha by Raja Reddy on Timmama Marrimaanu

There is no entry fee for the programs - the Department of Culture is organizing these programs to uplift the Indian traditional art forms. Please contact on 2323-3672 for further details.
