REVIEW FOR BURRAKATHA SAPTAHAM
The Department Of Culture is organizing a 100-day program named Satha Roopa, at the Ghantasala Kala Vedika in the premises of Ravindra Bharathi. On this occasion, there are many programs pertaining to different streams like harikatha, burrakatha, janapada (folk) dance and music, classical dance and music, magic, mimicry and mime.
As part of this, after the Harikatha Saptaham last week, it is the Burrakatha Saptaham from 30th April to 6th May. The Burrakatha programs are as below:
30th April

7:30pm - Burrakatha by Babu on Palnati Yuddam
1st May
6:30pm - Burrakatha by Vijayudu on Bobbili Yuddam
7:30pm - Burrakatha by V Rambabu on Bala Chandrudu

6:30pm - Burrakatha by C H Lingam on Brahmamgari Charitra
7:30pm - Burrakatha by G Ramu on Seeta Kalyanam
3rd May
6:30pm - Burrakatha by Satyanarayana on Bhishma
7:30pm - Burrakatha by Vibhuti Brothers on Uttaraabhimanya
4th May
6:30pm - Burrakatha by V Bhanumati on Srinivasa Kalyanam

There is no entry fee for the programs - the Department of Culture is organizing these programs to uplift the Indian traditional art forms. Please contact on 2323-3672 for further details.
