Taj Banjara is hosting a first of its kind Epicurean extravaganza called the Haemo Gourmet Fest where delicacies are created based on the guests' blood group(!), at Waterside Cafe.

The focal point of all diets is the right combination of food for the human body. The novel idea is to stay healthy, keep diseases at bay and, of course, delay the ageing process. In the quest for chiselled body, some diets which are rarer and uncommon, are the best. The latest is this one diet according to blood groups, and the a la carte menu is as follows:

Here are some dietary recommendations for people of various blood groups. For best results, don't read all this.

Group O
Blood group O is recommended a high protein, low carbohydrate diet. This includes plenty of meat and fish. People of this group should abstain from dairy products, cereals and grains. The allowed list of food contains olive oils, eggs, nut, vegetables and fruits in small measures. There is a definitive no-no to dairy products, grain, cereals, bread, rice and wheat. A high energy-exercising regime should be followed like aerobics, running, vigorous stretches.

Group A
This type should attach weightage to a vegetarian diet. The food should be rich in grains and vegetables, but have very little of meat and dairy products. Nuts, seeds, grains, bread, rice, wheat, cereals with plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits are recommended. Yoga and meditation aid the body towards a better health.

Group B
An ideal blood group, which has almost no restrictionds on food. Although processed food and rich carbohydrates are still not recommended. The exercise regimen should combine physically exerting games and hiking.

Group AB
The prescription is an amalgamation of food that is recommended for both blood group A and B, a more pro-vegetarian diet with some amounts of meat, fish and dairy products. Exercise should be a mix of calming and energetic pursuits.
