The Atrium Bar at Taj Deccan is hosting Mojito Nights, a promotion of mojito drinks, from 18th to 27th April. Expert and highly experienced bartender Laxman will show magic in whipping both classic and fusion mojitos during the 10-day fest intended to help you beat the summer heat. Customers can even devise their own flavors and try them.
The festival tries to create an awareness on mojitos which are quite popular in the Caribbeans, the US and the Western countries, but are new to India, particularly Hyderabad. Based on feedback from its customers after this, the hotel will also take a call on add them to the regular menu.
Mojito is a traditional Cuban cocktail which became popular in the United States during the late 1980s, and has recently seen a resurgence in popularity. It is traditionally made of five ingredients: rum, sugar (traditionally sugarcane juice), lime, carbonated water and mint. Its combination of sweetness and refreshing citrus and mint flavors are intended to mask the potent kick of the rum, and have made this clear cocktail a popular summer drink.
