The Pranic Healing Foundation Of Andhra Pradesh is conducting a 2-day Basic Pranic Healing workshop for people of all ages, on 3rd & 4th May, at The Times Of India building.
Pranic healing is a comprehensive system of natural healing techniques that uses life-force (prana) to cure any ailment in the human body. Using a scientific "no-touch" methodology, pranic healing utilizes prana to initiate specific biochemical changes to accelerate the body's innate ability to prevent, alleviate and heal a whole spectrum of physical, emotional and mental ailments.
The methods are simple and fairly easy to understand; anyone can learn and apply pranic healing in no time at all. Physical touch is not necessary because the practitioner applies pranic healing on the energy body rather than on the physical body. The workshop timings are 2pm to 8pm, and the fee is Rs. 900.
Pranic healing has its origin in ancient times. The Indian rishis, Chinese taoists and Tibetan monks are among the many who have been using "prana" or energy in healing for centuries. Until recently, however, the system was taught and practised secretly and selectively for fear of misuse.
The A P Pranic Healing Foundation came into existence in 1995. In Andhra Pradesh, it has trained 20,100 Basic Pranic Healers, 3,813 Advanced & Psychotherapy Healers, 295 Teachers (60 of them Active Teachers), 1,100 Arhatic Preps and around 70 Higher Arhatic Levels, 88 Clairvoyants, 226 Crystal healers, 63 Psychic Self-Defense Students, 136 Kriyashakthi Students and 95 Fengshui Students.
The Foundation plans to teach the techniques of this alternative medicine to prisoners, orphanages, tribals, soldiers in action, war widows, the deaf, the dumb and the blind, and at old people homes and charity institutions etc., free of cost.
