The Tharuni Handicrafts Exhibition is a platform where women get an opportunity to display and sell their products. The exhibition is being organized by the A P Women's Cooperative Finance Corporation Limited (APWCFCL) in its endeavor to provide marketing support to products produced by women's groups and women entrepreneurs, to create awareness among the local public that their exhibitions offer quality products for reasonable prices, and also to improve standardization, packaging, branding, pricing and publicity through the Tharuni Resource Center that organizes the melas.
The present exhibition will be open for 9 days. Stalls selling a range of products like handloom fabrics, readymade garments, soft toys, wooden furniture items, candles, bangles and leather products, all made by women's groups and entrepreneurs in the Khadi, village and small industries sector, will be on.
A one-day orientation-cum-workshop will be organized for women entrepreneurs on skill upgradation, design development, packaging and marketing techniques. Please contact the venue for further details.
