The Rajasthani Pragati Samaj and the Exhibition Society Dassera Sammelan Samithi are jointly organizing the 30th Ramayan Mela for a period of 9 days, where the display of religious tableaux/picture of Ram, Sita, Hanuman and Ravana will form the highlights.
The mela will begin with Ramacharitmanas' Navahan Prayan, followed by the installation of an idol of Goddess Durga. A kavi sammelan, religious discourses, Bala Sankar camp and quiz based on Ramayana will also be organized during the mela. The effigies of Ravana and Kumbhakarna will be burnt on the final day.
