The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Kalyana Mandapam is organizing a 14-day cost-to-cost handloom silk expo 2002 where master weavers from Kanchi, Gadwal, Pochampally, Chirala, Narayanpet, Kottakota and Venkatagiri will display some fine Paithani, hand printed and zari patch silk saris among others.
Also, home furnishing items like bedsheets, kitchenware, wooden items (laughing Buddha, Ganesha etc.), candles etc., will be available, besides bags, saris and churidar directly from manufacturers of other places like Mysore, Chanderi, Aurangabad, Madhurai and Rampuri.
