'Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it is too dark to read', reads a famous quote.
And out to prove this theory to the kids is The British Library. The British Library is trying to inculcate the habit of reading amongst the younger lot, by screening some classic children's films, and organizing a book fest. The fest plays host to over 60 children , aged betwen 2 to 12, who are free to pick from their favorites, or add new ones to their list.
The film fest stretches over an exhaustive 10 days, and its itinerary reads as follows:
27-04-04: The Legend Of Robin Hood
28-04-04: Tweenies LIve
29-04-04: Around the World in 80 Days
30-04-04: The Dirty Beast
01-05-04: The Magic Finger
02-05-04: The Enormous Crocodile
