They may or may not be the fairer and they may or may not be the weaker, but they certainly are the safer sex to be relied on to fight a killer. Especially when the protection demands safer sex.
The Women's Organization For Economic And Educational Needs is organizing an essay-writing and debating competition in English, Telugu and Urdu on the social responsibilities for AIDS prevention and management, with the topics including 'AIDS - Life and Beyond' and 'AIDS and our responsibilities'.
This is being organized in cooperation with the HK AIDS Foundation. Youth above 22 years of age will have to submit their essays by April 20. The debate will be held on the 21st at 9am. The rules for the debate will be explained at the venue before the event.
