REVIEW FOR SRILANKAN FILM FESTIVAL
To commemorate 60 years of diplomatic relations between India and Sri Lanka, the Hyderabad Film Club, in collaboration with the High Commission for Sri Lanka in New Delhi, is presenting 60 Years Of Sri Lankan Cinema, from 14th to 22nd June, at the Sarathi Studios Preview Theatre, Ameerpet. 9 award-winning Sri Lankan films will be screened during the 9-day festival, as below:
14th June
6:30pm - Fire Fighters (Sooriya Arana), by Somaratna Dissanayake
15th June
6:30pm - Family Chronicle (Gamperaliya), by Dr. Lester James Peries
16th June
6:30pm - The Treasure (Nidhanaya), by Dr. Lester James Peries
17th June
6:30pm - Mirror Image (Kadapathaka Chaya), by Wasantha Obeysekera
18th June
6:30pm - Walls Within (Pavuru Walalu), by Prasanna Vithanage
19th June
6:30pm - Pilgrimage (Theertha Yathra), by Wasantha Obeysekera
20th June
6:30pm - The Compensation (Aswesuma), by Benett Rathnayake
21st June
6:30pm - Shadows Of White (Sudu Sevaneli), by Prof. Sunil Ariyaratne
22nd June
6:30pm - The Garden (Sakman Maluwa), by Sumitra Peries
