Here's another wannabe on the pop horizon. Before you yawn, please notice the philanthropy. He is set out to prove that pop is not all about the baser things in life.
Sandeep Vyas, a Calcutta boy, has been struggling long to be a pop star, and is gradually moving towards success. He has of late put up shows at Hong Kong to help the victims of the Gujarat disaster. And more recently, he performed at Kolkata in a charitable show organized by the Rotary Club of Calcutta, Chowringee, in order to collect money to adopt a village at 24-Parganas and to look after the needs of the people in the village living below the poverty line.
While he's no doubt doing a commendable job performing for various service organizations, for a change he is performing today at the Secunderabad Club to enthrall the members of the club. And only them - the show is not open to the common public.
Please contact Col Anand Pillai at 780-4840 / 41 for further details.
