Stereotypes come very easily to regions. And our state is being stereotyped with IT too, leaving some things at least as worthwhile in the lurch. Art and culture can never lose out to a bubble. Our government seems to have realized this in time.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Department of Culture (DOC) are jointly organizing a unique 8-day cultural and heritage festival to promote Andhra culture and heritage. In this festival there will be around 50 stalls, of which 30 stalls will display Andhra handicrafts and 10 stalls will display the typical Andhra variety food items. The sponsors and the other government departments will share the remaining stalls.
