Aarti Agarwal didn't do it, Uday Kiran didn't do it, Diya Mirza didn't do it, and now your kid needn't do it. Learn some acting, that is. But if you don't believe in sheer luck, read on.
Vaishali Bisht's acting workshop is open once again for registrations. Children between the ages of 6 and 12 (though this is not a strict age limit) will be taken through the basics of stage performance, with the accent clearly on improving the child's self-confidence and strength of expression. There will be a short break for winter, and a performance (albeit a fairly informal one, for proud parents) at the end of the three-month course. The workshop's last performances include A Midsummer Night's Dream and Haroun And The Sea Of Stories.
The batch is already half-full, so apply immediately. The workshop starts on December 13, and will be held on Saturdays and Sundays. The venue hasn't been decided yet, but will be in the vicinity of Road Number 1 Banjara Hills. Please contact Vaishali at 2341-1862 for further details.
