PREVIEW FOR JEWELS 2003

Jewels 2003 is as much of a big deal as it was last year, and for a simple reason.
It has all the ingredients of a good exhibition - it's of mammoth proportions
with over one lakh designs, it's got all your favorite stores, and it dazzles
you, even if you're not much of a fan.

A show that hits around 15 cities in India, and has all major jewelry chains (ha
ha) participating in it, Jewels 2003 is known to offer some pretty cool deals
when it comes to gold and diamonds. The show tends to lean toward the traditional,
but that's not saying the contemporary does not find shelf space here. It does,
and often the exhibition also showcases the work of one or two upcoming designers
of the city.
