The Mitr Foundation is a presenting a Hindi comedy play called Golmaal Pyar Ka, on 9th December, at the Shilpakala Vedika. The play is written by Mihir Bhuta and directed by Manoj Joshi.
Featuring Manoj Joshi and Rajpal Yadav in the lead roles, Golmaal Pyar Ka brings together two actors known for their versatility and comic timing. After successfully collaborating with each other in films like Hungama and Garam Masala, the pair is set to entertain audiences again, starting no later than when the curtain goes up.
Rajpal Yadav plays Dr. Jay, a pediatrician who consults at Dr. Mamta Banerjee's hospital. Mamta Banerjee's hospital happens to be a rented property, and the landlord (Manubhai) is played by Manoj Joshi. The stage is set for a ménage-a-trois, and not without the accompanying complications. But there is a surprise in store for all three of them - someone else enters their lives, and the complications turn into a comedy of errors.
The play promises to take you on a roller-coster ride that you can enjoy with your family and friends. Karuna Pandey, Manisha Vora, Charu Joshi and Goldie Jain are the other actors playing supportive roles in the drama.
