GHMC 7-A-Side Football Tournament: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR GHMC 7-A-SIDE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is organising the Annual Open 7-A-Side Football Tournament, from 7th to 16th December, at the Red Hills Playground. A record 40 teams are participating in this popular tournament this year.

The participating teams are SAAP 'A', Jahanuma Playground, Red Hills Gol Chaman, Hyderabad Range, Munsif-7, Hyderabad Sporting, Mallepally Playground, Don Bosco Football Club, Maisaram Stars, Gymkhana FC, First Lancer FC, Masab Tank FC, Shantinagar Playground, Bolarum Sporting, Nizam, King Koti 'A', Abbas Union, Somalian FC, Cha Cha Nehru Park, Vignan Kondapur, Darulshifa Football Club, Munsif Club, Alwal Stars, Golconda, Farhatnagar, Maisaram, Good Faith Playground, Vijayanagar Colony, Old Alwal, Tarnaka Football Club, Tanzania FC, King Koti 'B', Social Sporting SAAP 'B', Vasavi Football Club, OK Sporting, Noor Khan Bazar FC, Red Hills, Vijayanagar Colony 'B' and GHMC.

The matches will all be played in the knockout format, and will start daily at 2pm. Each match will be of one hour duration, divided into two halves of 25 minutes each with a break of 10 minutes between the halves. Instead of the usual ten players, teams will have only seven players, including the goalkeeper.

Participation certificates will be given to the participating teams. Winners and runners-up trophies will be awarded to the, er, winners and runners-up respectively.
