Raghunath, a renowed artist, is going to perform a vocal concert at the Lord Balaji Temple at Alwal on 8th April. He will be accompanied by Datta on the flute, Nageshwar Rao on the mridangam, and Anil Kumar on the violin.
Raghunath is going to render some masterpieces of the Annamacharya keertanas such as Taamunnadi set to Hindolam ragam, Ithani Prasadame Inniyunu set to Kaama Vardini ragam, Bhakti Koladi Vaadeparama set to Malaya Maaruta ragam, Taane Taane Indari Gurudu set to Sudda Dhanyasi ragam and Adi Purusha set to Sindhu Bhairavi.
Raghunath is an A-grade artist in the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam for the past 15 years, and has performed more that 5,000 concerts all over India and abroad. He has learnt music from Venkateshwarlu, his father and first guru, and thereupon he learnt music from Bala Subhramanya Sharma, G Balakrishna Prasad and Mythili. He has done 20 cassettes which are available all over India. He was awarded the Nada Chintamani title by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams in 2006.
