When an institution decides to do away with any hotchpotch and holds a festival that stands for what the institution itself stands for - the pursuit for excellence in technology - what does it promise? Yes, this is likely to be a lot of budding scientific talent on display!
Muffakamjah College of Engineering and Technology is hosting 'Tachyon 2K1', a two-day technology festival, at its premises. Lots of events are scheduled on these two days, and are mainly aimed at unleashing the hidden talents in students and apprising them of the ever-changing tenor in technology.
The events that will take place are an electronic display exhibition, an electronic simulation, an IT quiz, a programming contest, an Internet browsing contest, software development, paper presentation, a circuit design contest, poster presentation, guest lectures, a mouse hunt, a 'Yo! CEO' contest, a 'Shut Down The System' contest and 'Gee Dee' (whatever that means!).
