Pottery Workshop At Saptaparini: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR POTTERY WORKSHOP AT SAPTAPARINI

Saptaparni is organizing a 6-day workshop on pottery, from 12th May to 17th May, at Banjara Hills. The participants will be trained in different handmade pottery designs, and also in using the potter's wheel. While the basic fundamentals of hand-building techniques and individual elementary lessons on the potter's wheel will be taught, apart from pots, the participants will also be taught to make bells, facemasks, clay paintings and animal miniatures.

This workshop is open to those above 6 years of age. The fee for this workshop is Rs. 750, and the timings are 10:30am to 12:30pm and 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

Jaya Prakash, who has worked at the Craftworks Department of JNTU, will conduct the pottery classes. He currently runs a clay-crafts factory at Rajendra Nagar.
