You won't find these students snoozing in science class, because they're more likely teaching it. When our country speaks of intellectual capital, this is the group of students they refer to. And here they are now with their inventions that can do anything from reducing pollution to keeping your breath minty fresh.
School students between ages 14 and 16 are participating in a fair that exhibits their ease of command over long-dreaded scientific concepts. The Intel Science Talent Discovery Fair 2004 will display some 150 original works in nine science-related subjects. The best scientists-in-the-making will win a chance to participate in the Intel International Science and Engineeing Fair at Portland, USA.
