Students of Geeta High School are going to perform a devotional vocal concert at the Lord Balaji Temple at Alwal on 11th April. They will be accompanied by Datta on the flute and Nagesh on the tabla.
The students will start the program with a Ganesh Stuti, and follow it up with devotional songs such as Paluke Bangara Mayena, Tiru Tiru Javaraala, Taandava Nrutyakari, Kondalalo Nelakonna and Adivo Alladivo. The participants are Shantan Kumar, Uttej, Abhiram, Shanti, Madhurima, Sai Mohan, Swetha and Koushik.
Geeta High School is established in 1987 by Harinath Rao who is its principal. The school has dedicated and well-qualified faculty, emphasis on allround personality development, well-equipped science and computer laboratories and library, and serene atmosphere. The school encourages students by involving them in inter-house competitions and co-curricular activities like yoga, music (vocal), classical dance, painting, drawing, field trips and excursions.
