The Post Graduate Professional Students Association and the Department Of Computer Applications of Sreenidhi Institute Of Science And Technology, are organising their first annual technical festival Eclat '08, on 11th April, at the college's campus in Ghatkesar. Open for students of computer applications, the event has several events such as Paper And Poster Presentations, Mini Projects, C-Programming, Quiz, Fun Games and Game Zone. A brief list:

Paper Presentation
This paper presentation event is open for MCA, MBA and M Tech students, and under-graduate students of engineering. The paper should be related to computer science.

Poster Presentation
The presentation can be made on any topic related to computer science.

Mini Project
Design a creative project, present it before the judges and win prizes.

C-programming
If you are good in programming skills, this event is a perfect platform for C programmers.

Treasure Hunt
Based on the clues provided, participants are required to find the treasure and win prizes.

Techcnical Quiz
The Technical Quiz is a competition that brings out in the students the ability to recall the learning at the proper time and in the proper manner, as fast as they can. Several rounds of questions will be asked of students in technical subjects which not only improve knowledge but also develop competitive spirit.

Online Games
Strictly for hardcore gamers - games such as Allien's Attack, Commando Force and Star Wars test the attacking and outwitting skills of the participants.
