The JNTU College Of Engineering is organising its annual cultural festival Spandana '08, on 10th & 11th April, at the JNTU campus in Kukatpally. Spandana, as the name suggests, is a pulsating event that makes the end of the academic year memorable for a student. It's organized by students of the JNTU College Of Engineering, which has around 250 affiliated colleges across the state.

Spandana '08 has loads of events, some traditional and some innovative, which will jolt students into uncharacteristic levels of action for two sparkling days. A brief list of events is as under:

Devil's Advocate
The event promises to be the spirited encounter which will stimulate your thoughts and test your ability to drive home your point. It provides with a perfect platform to exhibit your knowledge and ability to challenge the opposition and outshine your peers.

Ad Campaign
Ad Campaign - the advertising contest of Spandana - is an event for all those who have the ability to cast a spell on buyers. If you have the power of innovation, presentation and convincing the unconceivable, then welcome to Ad Campaign, which challenges your imagination to think big and think new. Come embark on an adventure of insanity.

Celebrity's Revelery
The best of celebrities rock the crowd with foot-tapping tunes and heart throbbing performances all set to drive the mob crazy. Popular Tollywood music director Chakri will be performing on the 10th evening, and the entry is free.

Face Painting
This is an event which provides you an opportunity to portray yourself as an artistic visionary.

Kreative Writing
Jot down your weirdest imaginations and thoughts, to be acclaimed as the next most upcoming writer. Stretch the limits of your limits of imagination to weave together the various concepts that are experienced in the real day-to-day life.

Choreography
A grand evening in Spandana which showcases the most talented college troupes in the region, mesmerizing a jam-packed audience that rises to its feet at the sound of each beat. An event which is second in popularity to none, choreography commands a special place in the hearts of all those who witness it.

Mr & Ms Spandana
It is designed to check out with the creativity, uniquness and spontanity of the participants which ultimately lead them into a whirlpool of fun.

Juke Box
Juke box is all for students to scream, jump, yell, leap and go bonkers. It is the most enthralling event of the fest. DJ Hemanth will rock everyone with his thunderous music.

There are many other exciting events like LAN Gaming, Treasure Hunt, Vocalz, Charcoal Painting, General Quiz, Cut Copy Paste, Third Eye and Slow Bike Race.
