Hotel Aditya Park in Ameerpet is featuring the best of Old Delhi cuisine, served in a befitting ambience, all these 10 days. The Chandni Chowk food festival at Promenade, the multi-cuisine restaurant in Aditya Park, is on from 11th to 20th April, from 7:30pm.
Chandni Chowk is a heady mixture of history, modernity, tradition and religion, influences of which are reflected in the food. It is a mixture of North-Indian food, Mughlai cuisine, Punjabi specialities and mouth-watering street food.
The buffet costs Rs. 325 a person, and offers chaas or Jal Jeera to start with, followed by an elaborate live chaat counter serving Mutter Ke Samose, Aloo Chole, Mutter Kulcha, Dahi Gujiya and Aloo Tikki. The live counter of parathas from the famous Parathe Wali Gali will include Paneer Mirchi Paratha, Papad Paratha and Tomato Paratha. The main course will have Mughlai and Punjabi delicacies like Murgh Makhan Wala, Nalli Ghost, Fish Amritsari, Shahi Paneer and Sarson Ka Saag.
