Sarojini Cricket And Fitness Academy is organising a summer coaching camp for children from 21st April to 20th June at its premises at Bagh Lingampally. The children will be trained in cricket and tennis.
The camp has special visits and coaching inputs by successful people like Dronacharya awardee S M Arif, international players V V S Laxman, M V Sridhar, Kanwaljeet Singh, Syed Kirmani, Sunil Joshi and Sujith Somasunder for cricket, and Kumar, Ramesh, Prasad and Sai for tennis. There will also be special guest lectures in personality development for goal setting and time management, with talks by Brahmkumaris School Of Hyderabad head B K Kuldeep, and Ravi Kumar of Art Of Living. The camp costs Rs. 500 for cricket and Rs. 1,000 for tennis.
SCFA was a noble idea to provide quality training to all budding sportsmen in and around Hyderabad, and manifested itself through the efforts of G Kiran Reddy, a national volleyball player. Many good samaritans assisted him in making it a reality. SCFA today is one of its kind, providing the best possible allround training and grooming in cricket and tennis to many amateur players, to help them evolve into professional state-level and national-level players. Reddy takes care of the day-to-day affairs. The academy also helps several charities and institutes for handicapped children.
