Kuchipudi has definitely done its homework, 'cos this is exactly what it is doing. Kuchipudi provides you with a chance to appreciate art after you polish off a fanatstic spread of South Indian food. The spread includes 3 non-vegetarian dishes, 7 vegetarian dishes, 2 rice dishes and 8 desserts alomg with the regular course of starters and soups. The buffet also includes live counters where you can sit back and watch your food being cooked.

The cynosure of the evening is a Kuchipudi performance of Vatsayana's Kamasutra by Swathy Somnath. This dance ballet has been cause for some controversy, not for its content, but for its theme. The dance is a symbolic representation of the basic essence of Vatsyayana's work - shringara (sex) as the path to moksha.
