Najma Husain has a few plans for Cinema Ghar, and not all of them involve paintings. If film promos of Meenaxi, and its now popular music track have made you curious about the man and his works, then here's your chance to find out more about Husain's 70mm exploits.

As a prelude to the release of MF Husain's much-publicised film Meenaxi- A tale of three cities, Cinema Ghar, Husain's art gallery back home, will be screening his earlier celluloid creations.

The schedule for the screenings is as follows:
Exclusive M.F.Husain’s films screening on Saturdays, 20th & 27th
and on Wednesdays, 24th & 31st of March

There will be two screenings of ‘Gaja Gamini’ (feature film –
duration 2hrs 10 mins) one at 11.00am and another at 5.30pm. This will
be preceded by a 5 minutes synopsis/ introduction of the film.

Two more short films will also be screened at 4.45pm on the above-
mentioned dates.
1. ‘Six days of Making’ – M.F.Husain in action – 25 mins.
2. ‘Folk Dances’ - A film by M.F.Husain - 9 mins.
