Tourism Mart: Events in Hyderabad

PREVIEW FOR TOURISM MART

The prehistoric man moves on. He scouts for a place for a suitable biosphere,
settling to chop through the food chain. And when the natural resources are consumed,
he moves on, but before that, he always looks at his tourist brochures: "Thick,
juicy brontosauruses with perfect vegetation for Kiwis and Mammoths. Truly a tourist's
paradise." Yummy!

The modern man isn't much different either. Here's an event that's surely a tourism
aficionado's dream - the Tourism Mart organized by the CII at The Taj Krishna
from the 2nd of December to the 4th of December.

There will be two sections in the mart:

1. The exhibition

2. The conference

The Exhibition is an inter-state affair, with airlines, resorts, tour operators
and the likes from all over the country. It's open to all. There will be a pearl
exhibition, too.

The conference is a five-event affair.

1. Covering integration of tourism

2. Covering investment and returns in tourism

3. Emergence of AP as a tourist destination

And on the next day:

4. Heritage thread, weaving together the past, present and future

5. An exciting tour of select monuments of the city

There will also be an exclusive CEO Conclave, whose results will be presented
to Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu. The entry for a single delegation will be Rs. 3,000
