St. Xavier's PG College is organising its annual management fest called Mythri '08, on 28th & 29th March, at the college's campus in Gopannapalli. The 2-day fest will witness students from several management colleges of the twin cities participating. There will be several formal and informal events, such as:
Patrika
The paper presentation contest on the following topics:
Corporate Social Responsibility
Brand Building
Employee Branding
Mergers & Acquisitions
e-Marketing
Employee Retention
Worklife Balance
Corporate Governance
Viral Marketing
Pravallika
A business quiz with three participants per team.
Prakatana
A marketing event where the participant will be given a product and is required to market it.
Parichay
A HR event. The participants are required to conduct an interview with the prospective candidates as part of the recruitment process.
Dumb Charades
Actions speak words. Participants will be given a word, and they are required to explain it without speaking, only through actions.
Role Play
Everyone has a role to play. But here, the participant has to act out the role and make his partner understand it.
Collage
In general terms, collage is making something out of some useless stuff. But at Mythri, making sense out of nonsense is collage. Participants are given some stuff (may be from scrap) on the spot, and they are required to use their creativity to devise something that can be used.
Mind Teasers
This event is a bunch of many events, such as puzzles, tongue twisters and tricky games.
