The 2nd MEDITEC 2007, the annual trade fair in medical and healthcare technology, is being held from 10th to 12th February 2007 at Hitex. It is one of the most prestigous annual trade fairs of its kind in Central and South Asia in the healthcare industry.

It is jointly organized by APEX and Orbit Expositions & Conventions, Germany, and the focus of the exhibition is electronic medical equipment, medical technology and services in the booming Asian healthcare market. Largely targeting the South and Central Asian countries, the objective of the trade fair is to provide a platform to present the latest technologies and equipment in order to encourage potential partnerships in South and Central Asia.

MEDITEC 2006, which was held at Hyderabad in February 2006, showcased leading international and national players in the medical trade field who exhibited numerous products and services. The trade fair attracted more than 5,000 visitors from all around the world. More than 109 exhibitors took part in this display of medical technology.

This year, it is expected to attract a large number of participants from across the globe, and has the potential to offer huge benefits to all participants in the form of business opportunities including partnerships, tie-ups, brand promotion and launch of new products.
