Sree Kala Niketan is organizing a Juloori Naga Raja Rao literary award function and cultural program wherein P Subbaramaiah, a famous storywriter and a retired lecturer of the Loyola College of Vijaywada, will be felicitated and will be given a cash award of Rs. 3,116.
His stories have been translated into Kannada, Hindi and even Russian. His tales of middle-class Brahmins won him much acclaim. And upon his felicitation for his contribution to this field, Dr Ketu Vishwanatha Reddy and Dr C Mrunalini will speak about him and his work.
'Pattapurani Talapotu', a Telugu play, will follow the function. Eight artists are participating in this play. The chief guests for this function will be B V R K Prasad, IAS, and T Venkat Reddy, IAS.
