The annual Golconda Cultural Festival - a grand celebration of music, dance & history - organised by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Ltd is being held from 18th to 20th April, at the Taramati Baradari Cultural Complex, Gandipet Road, Ibrahimbagh.
The 3-day festival will feature some memorable performances by renowned national artistes, such as Kathak dance by V Anuradha Singh and santoor recital by Rahul Sharma on the opening day, dance performances by Dr. Alekhya Punjla, Geeta Ganesan, C Gopalakrishnan, Mahua Shankar, Mitali Raul, Panchali Chatterjee and Madhuri Deshmukh on the second day, and a Kuchipudi ballet by K V Satyanarayana and ghazals by maestro Pankaj Udhas on the third, as below:
18th April
7:00pm - Kathak dance recital by V Anuradha Singh
8:00pm - Maya The Illusion, santoor recital by Rahul Sharma (son and disciple of Pt. Shivkumar Sharma)
19th April
7:00pm - Dances Of India: Kuchipudi by Dr. Alekhya Punjla, Bharatanatyam by Geeta Ganesan, Kathakali by C Gopalakrishnan, Kathak by Mahua Shankar, Odissi by Mitali Raul, Mohiniattam by Madhuri Deshmukh & Manipuri by Poushali Chatterjee
20th April
7:00pm - Amukthamalyada, Kuchipudi ballet by K V Satyanarayana
8:00pm - Ghazals by ghazal maestro Pankaj Udhas
