Baisakhi Food Festival: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR BAISAKHI FOOD FESTIVAL

C'lantro, the multi-cuisine restaurant of Katriya Hotel & Towers on Raj Bhavan Road, is hosting a Baisakhi Food Festival from 12th to 20th April. The buffet is available only for dinner, and costs Rs. 250 for an adult and Rs. 175 for child (plus taxes as applicable).

The menu contains many mouth-watering dishes like Lahori Paneer, Kadi Pakora, Rajmah, Sarson Da Saag, Pindey Chole, Tawewali Macchi, Lobiya, Dhaba Shahi Paneer, Baigan Da Bharta, Aloo Waria, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Kadai Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Dal Makhani, Dal Amritsari and Punj Ratani Dal.

There is also an array of breads to choose from, including Aloo Paratha, Mooli Paratha, Lachha Paratha, Makke Ki Roti, Tandoori Roti, Missi Roti, Rumali Roti and Kulcha. The desserts, too, are enticing, with Phirni, Gulab Jamuns, Burfi, Gajar Ka Halwa, Malpua, Hot Jalebi with Rabdi and Kulfi-Faluda completing the menu. And a tall glass of lassi that comes along is a must for that final feel of that Punjabi tadka.

The menu changes everyday. The ambience at the restaurant has been specially done up with posters of rural Punjab adoring the walls, and the waiters too are dressed in the traditional Punjabi costumes.
