Prasanna Trust is conducting a 5-day seminar on Mantra Yoga in Telugu, by D Satish Kumar, a teacher trained under Swami Sukhabodhananda, from 17th to 21st April, at The Times Of India Building, Road No. 2. This workshop will be held in 5 sessions, with each session lasting 2-1/2 hours.
The word mantra is related to manas (the mind), and yoga means to unite with our origin. Mantra Yoga would then mean to discover our origin using our mind. The process involves concentration and meditation, and Mantra Yoga is a logical and scientific understanding of spirituality. The five sessions of the workshop are:
Session 1: Gam Ganapataye Namaha
This session talks of how one can become a "total quality" individual. To become a total quality individual, one should possess deha shuddi, vak shuddi, bhava shuddi, vichara shuddi and atma shuddi.
Session 2: Krishna
The second session is about Lord Krishna's ananda lahari, prema lahari and soundarya lahari.
Session 3: Om Namah Shivaya
This session is about iccha shakti, kriya shakti and vidya shakti.
Session 4: Mrityunjaya Mantra
This is the session which teaches how to overcome the fear of death.
Session 5: Gayatri Mantra
It has been proved that every indian is above average, and that countries like Japan and China are below average. Even then India is lagging behind Japan and China in growth and technology, and that is because India is below average in team work while Japan and China are above average. This session teaches team work through the Gayatri Mantra.
