GITEX India 2007: Events in Hyderabad

CBN or not, a whole lot of heavy-duty stuff continues to happen in town on IT. And here is what appears to be the heaviest yet.

The Information Technology and Communications Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, in association with the Dubai World Trade Center, is hosting the 6th GITEX India 2007 from 9th to 11th January, at various venues of the city. On this occasion, conferences, seminars and workshops will be organised by various industry associations such as HYSEA, NASSCOM, CII and ELIAP on emerging topics including animation, HR, telecom & broadband technologies, and eGovernance.

GITEX India brings together leading Indian and global IT players on a single platform, for companies specializing in IT products and an ideal forum for developing business relationships with key decision-makers, senior officials and IT professionals from both the public and private sector. Since its inception in 2002, GITEX India has been growing every year.

The 5th edition of GITEX India 2006 attracted 50,000 trade visitors and over 140 companies exhibited their software & hardware products & services from around the world including USA, UK, China, Russia, Malaysia and India.
