GITEX Shopper India 2007 is presented by the retail arm of GITEX India, and is an exhibition-cum-shopping event, where one can purchase computer peripherals at reasonable rates. It will be organised from 9th to 11th January at the Hitex exhibition grounds.

It will host leading regional IT vendors offering some of the best deals on computer hardware, software, peripherals, multimedia and a wide range of computer products and services, to a huge number of potential buyers. To encourage greater penetration of IT Products, the government has decided to exempt VAT on all the transactions during GITEX India 2006. The previous year's edition had registered retail sales worth US $1 million during the three days.

Shopper India 2007 will feature exhibitors exhibiting mobile phones, personal computers, keyboards, work stations, publishing, home electronics, office automation, software applications, computer accessories & peripherals, digital cameras / handy cams, laptops, printers, hardware resellers, electronic media, audio equipment, date storage media, entertainment software, telecommunication products, gaming consoles, notebooks, security applications & systems, and high-end home electronics.
