On the event of the National Book Week celebrations, the publications division of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is organizing a 10-day book exhibition. Books on various subjects like art, culture, history, children's literature, agriculture, fauna, flora, land and people, biographies of eminent personalities, Gandhian literature and children's literature will be on display here.
New releases like Story Of Ayurveda, Story Of Swimming, Folktales Of Kerala, C Rajagopalachary, B R Ambedkar, Marine Archaeology Of India, Empowering Indian Women, The Myths And Mystics Of Indian Rivers, March Of Time, Story Of Football, Wood Carvings Of Gujarat, Live Long And Stay Young And How, What And Why will be available.
Some special books on farming like Handbook On Horticulture, Textbook Of Vegetables, Tuber Crops And Spices, Textbook Of Temperature Fruits, Agricultural Education - A Career Guide, Odyssey Of Sandalwood Tree, Minor Spices And Condiments, Wealth Of India Series, Compendium Of Indian Medicinal Plants etc. will also be on display.
The current exhibition will also feature books of governmental organizations like the National Book Trust, ICAR, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research etc. A discount of 10 per cent will be given on all books.
