The Sutradhar School of Acting is organizing an 8-week comprehensive 'Acting Workshop' exclusively for women artists. In this workshop, students will be trained in theater, television and cinema.
At this practical-oriented workshop, the emphasis will be on body language, gestures, postures, voice and speech exercises, characterization, sense memory and emotion memory, and on the difference between acting on stage and before camera. Many other aspects of acting, including Raja Yoga and meditation, will also be covered. Specialists from the field of make-up and lighting will also be part of the faculty.
Apart from Verma, theater instructors and several technicians will form the resources for the workshop. The admission will be based on a screening test. Interested persons can contact the Sutradhar office in Himayatnagar. The course fee is Rs. 7,500 (includes profile).
