The Taj Krishna is holding a 9-day Italian Food Festival where two chefs Manuele Cataruzza and Gian Nicola Colucci (head chefs from Grand Hotel Quisiana, Capri) will bring some authentic Italian cuisine to the foodies of the city.
The buffet served by the chefs will have a distinctive smell and taste of international flavor. Both chefs have enormous experience, having worked at top hotels in countries like London, France and New York before settling down in Italy.
The chefs are here in Hyderabad on a promotional trip due to it being off-season in Capri. It's during the winter that they go out on such trips around the world. They bring with them some ingredients like fresh basil, cheese and rosemary all the way from Italy, for that touch of authenticity. The chefs will incorporate regional Italian cuisine from diverse places like Naples and Sicily into the buffet.
