The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) is organising a quiz for students of engineering and business schools, called Electron Quiz, on 5th November, at the Hari Hara Kala Bhavan. The quiz will be conducted at the five regional headquarters of the NTPC, and the winners of the regional competitions will clash at the national level to be held in Delhi. The subject areas are broadly corporate business, news, general knowledge, films and entertainment, and sports.
The winning team will pocket prizes worth Rs. 15,000, while the first runner-up team will get Rs. 10,000 worth prizes, and the second runner-up, Rs. 6,000 worth prozes. There are also prizes worth Rs. 2,000 each for the fourth, fifth and sixth placed teams.
