This weekend, most of Hyderabad's roads will lead to f bar & lounge, with the big party-makers - DJ Ivan from Bangalore on Friday and DJ Ryan Beck from Mumbai on Saturday - will rock the weekend. Tonite, DJ Ivan, one of the most familiar faces of the party circuit and a regular in Hyderabad, will be playing plenty of electronic and progressive music to pep-up the party spirit.
DJ Ivan kickstarted his career 15 years ago at a nightclub called Time & Again, and has also played at Midnight Express Pub and later at The Club, Bangalore. He was the resident DJ of Three Flights Up (Mumbai) during 1997-98. He was the official Disc Jockey at Channel V India's events, and also the official DJ at the Bacardi Martini events in 1998-2001.
A runner-up at the DMC World Championship 1998 in India, he was also the first and only Indian DJ to play at the Ministry of Sound's first official tour of India in 2001. He has played with some of the world's top DJs like Paul Van Dyk, Danny Rampling, Sasha, Smoking Joe, Tom Stephen, Lee Buridge and Steve Lawler, and was the first Indian DJ to perform in Dubai - at Copas in the Four Point Sheraton Hotel.
He regularly plays the Wednesday residency at Spinn, Bangalore's biggest and most successful club, and is currently hosting his own radio show - Hotmix on 101.3 Rainbow FM, Bangalore.
