Sri Sai Kala Sravanthi and the A P Vamsee Film Society are jointly organizing a 4-day cultural festival where competitions in music, drama and dance will be held. The detailed schedule is as follows:
October 3 & 4
Drama competitions will be held in which actors will be asked to monoact (Eka Patrabhinayam) the mythological character 'Aswathama'. In the evening, renowned mythological stage artist Vemuri Shyama Sundar will be felicitated.
October 5
Music and dance competitions will held, besides a handicrafts exhibition by Kamala Prasada Rao. The list of events that will take place are as follows:
6.00pm - Lalitha Sangeetham by Ramana Kumari and M Rajeshwara Rao
6.45pm - Mimicry by Venu Gopal and L Venkateshwarlu
7.00pm - Mythological play - Sri Krishna Rayabaram (Dwaraka episode)
7.20pm - Social play - Athidhi Devullu Vasthunnaru (Love Kumar episode - written by Adi Vishnu)
7.30pm - Sushma Mahanti's Kuchipudi dance
7.45pm - Awards presentation to Mitali Raj (World record holder in Cricket), Akella Siva Prasad (writer), T S R Siva Prasad (music), D S Prahallad (actor) and K D Murthy (sports promoter).
In the end, a dance program by Sushma Mahanti and a mythological play Basha will be presented. Veteran actor Rallapalli will be the chief guest on the occasion.
October 6
