Music has always been kind to child prodigies. They intend to compose and sing it for a much longer time. This is perhaps one bias against which nobody seems to complain. Here's one such benefited.
Neyveli Santana Gopalan, who has become famous as a younger generation vocal performer, is performing a vocal recital as a part of SICA's 42nd foundation day. SICA, a cultural organization, was founded on the 26th of May 1959.
Santana Gopalan is the disciple of T N Seshagopalan, has been in this field for the past 15-16 years, and has given a number of performances and won accolades for himself. Recently Kartik Fine Arts of Chennai awarded him the title "Isai Peroli", which means 'A beckoning light in the field of music' for his outstanding performance in the field of music. Priya Vision, a serial production company of Chennai, has awarded him the title "Gana Priya Ratna" for the same cause.
Santana Gopalan, with an ambition to train and improve the skills of the aspiring students of music, has started a music school called "Chandra Sekhar Guru Krupa". Students here will undergo a rigorous training regimen to be trained in Carnatic vocal.
