Shilparamam is presenting a Carnatic vocal recital by Annapurna, on 13th April. Accompanying her will be Achala Kumari on the violin and Bhanu Prasad on the mridangam. Annapurna will be reciting a couple of Annamacharya keertanas and other devotional numbers, such as Maha Ganapathim in Naata ragam, Vinaro Bhagyamu in Sudda Dhanyasi ragam, Madhava Kesava in Dvijavanti ragam, Hari Namame in Naaga Gandhari ragam and Hari Avataruditadu in Mayamalava Gowla.
Annapurna is a disciple of Savitri Annaji Rao. She has performed in many channels like ETV, Gemini TV and Doordarshan. She has also performed at many cultural venues in Hyderabad such as Thyagaraja Gana Sabha and Ravindra Bharathi. She also many concerts in light music to her name.
