Segal's Love Story glorified law students, and it was a badly needed shot in the arm for a profession that has more jokes about it than a lawyer can tell lies (see, we can't be nice to them even involuntarily). Here's a lot of the next generation black coats who're perhaps in the last days of any resemblance to lovable people.
The P R R Law College is celebrating its 13th annual day function today. T Devender Goud, Minister for Home and Cinematography, will preside over the function, and P S A Swamy, High Court judge, will be the guest of honor and will address the students about the importance of law in today's society.
As part of the celebrations, the students of the college will present items like music, songs, dance and mono action. A play called 'Mathileni Maharaju' will also be enacted on the occasion.
The chief guest will distribute prizes to the winners of the various sports competitions like cricket, chess, volleyball, carroms and table tennis held last week in the campus. Please contact C Satyam at 374-0488 for further details.
