You could be forgiven if you thought that was a bimbo dance group. Even we
did, and we're still coming to terms with it. 'The Eves' is in reality an exhibition
that "lays special focus" on women, and is being publicized to be a pretty exciting
one with lots of things taking place in it (of course, would we expect them
to say it would be a dull and lifeless one?).
The folks claim you can go on a shopping spree on items priced quite reasonably,
and these apparently include designer labels like Aamani International, Ghanshyam
Sarode, G V Rao, Kalima-e-Tayyaba and Kusum Agarwal (well, they said it). A
variety of hand-painted saris, ethnic costumes, exclusive Dharmavaram and Gadwal
saris, exquisite jewelry and items made of stained glass are also on display.
Kalima-e-Tayyaba is a voluntary women's organization that deals with 22 skilled
trades. Sara Khan, famous jewelry designer, and master weaver U V Rao are taking
part here, and are bringing along with them some fashionable jewelry and contemporary
saris.
The exhibition is being organized "in tribute to Hyderabadi women", as a part
of the women's weekend. Eves can just drop in for some lifestyle accessories,
too - jewelry, Indian and Western designer wear, handicrafts, electronics and
more.
Visitors can avail a free health and dental checkup along with other interesting
offers. The food court promises a variety of dishes.
