The textbooks are full of inspirational stuff and equality rights, but in the grounds it's always the big guys and the bullies that have their way, and the teachers like only the smart kids in the front bench. Is it too much then to be guilty of learning the rules of the world and humbly get subdued?
The guilty is the rest of the world, Parveez would say. And Nuway is not going to allow it. The child development center run by Parveez Chinoy is organizing a unique skill-building program for children. The center believes that children learn best through play and other innovative exercises. Its activity-based learning methods are aimed at promoting the all round development of the child - emotional, social, intellectual and physical aspects. Students from many schools including Hyderabad Public School, St Anns, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Gitanjali, Rosary Convent, Chirec, Nasr, Chaitanya and Springfields have participated in its earlier programs.
Trained faculty at this center will conduct the program that comprises lively, interactive indoor and outdoor activities and mind games, aimed at enhancing self-esteem, communication skills, leadership skills, creative thinking and problem solving. The program includes a stimulating selection of theater-based activities.
