This is one place where generals gathered in the masses won't upset 'ol Ozzy. In fact, these are plotters who we'd want to get famous for doing a real man's job of it, aren't they?
After the month-long chess tournaments conducted by the YMCA at Secunderabad last month, it is now the turn of that at Narayanaguda to host longer (44-day) ones for all the young generals. The details of the tournament are as follows:

(4) 37th annual open chess tournament for boys & girls under 19 years

(5) 37th annual open chess tournament for college students

(6) Open chess tournament for men and women

(7) 3rd annual Kargil memorial open chess tournament

This tournament will be conducted under the latest FIDE rules. All college students should submit their entries through their respective colleges. Spot entries will not be accepted. Events with less than six entries will not be conducted. Players should quote their latest FIDE ratings if any while giving their entry.
